10'6" covers most rider-plus-dog combinations. 11'6" gives larger dogs more forward space without crowding the rider's stance zone — popular for buyers targeting large breed owners.
Width is the single most important stability factor for pet use. A dog shifting its weight on a 30" board will tip it. At 33"+, the board can absorb the movement of a 60–80 lb dog without destabilising the rider.
Drop-stitch inflated to 15 PSI provides a rigid, stable platform under the combined weight of rider plus pet. No flex under dynamic load from a moving animal.
Full-length EVA across the entire top surface — nose to tail. Dogs do not stay in the centre. The grip texture is designed to be comfortable on bare paws and provide traction for both human feet and dog claws without causing abrasion.
Dual-layer PVC rail construction with heat-welded seams, rated for repeated claw contact. Standard single-layer rails show scoring and surface damage from dog claws within a single season. Our reinforced rails maintain structural integrity and appearance through multiple seasons of pet use.
Standard rating covers a 200 lb rider plus a 100 lb dog — the combination that defines the top end of the pet SUP market. Wider ODM configurations can be rated to 350 lbs+ on request.

A pet-friendly SUP is defined by materials and construction — not just by putting a paw print on the deck. Here is what buyers customise to make a board that genuinely works for dogs.
Customisable elements:
• Texture: Standard diamond groove (comfortable on bare paws), softer flat EVA (preferred for dogs with sensitive paws), or brushed texture (maximum grip for wet conditions)
• Colour: Any solid colour or two-tone split — popular choices include aqua/navy, sand/teal, and neutral tones that hide paw prints
• Paw print pattern: Decorative paw print inlaid into the EVA surface, available as a repeat pattern or single feature graphic
Our pet boards use dual-layer PVC rail construction with heat-welded seams. The outer layer is thick enough to absorb repeated claw contact without structural damage or visible scoring over a normal product lifespan.
For rental fleet buyers, we can also add a PVC rail guard strip along the top rail edge — the highest-impact zone for dog claws — as an additional protective layer.
